Florida City, FL – 2024 – In partnership with the Florida City Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Executive Director Jon Ward, and Branches Empowerment Center, Rap Snacks/BossUp FDN recently concluded an 8-week Entrepreneurship Bootcamp designed to inspire and equip the next generation of entrepreneurs. This transformative program highlights the potential for entrepreneurship to play a key role in the economic growth and revitalization of Florida City.
Students were registered for the boot-camp through Branches Empowerment Center, a local organization dedicated to empowering youth and families. Over the course of eight intensive weeks, 20 selected participants embarked on a journey to turn their ideas into viable businesses. They learned to conceptualize business models, craft business plans, and develop minimum viable products (MVPs), with the program culminating in a dynamic pitch competition judged by a panel of successful entrepreneurs, influencers, and industry experts.
